The ASA welcomes the appointment of Ludovic Basset as new Director General at
The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA).
Mr Basset brings a wealth of experience to EASA, having occupied senior leadership roles within European organisations, notably two European sector associations, as well as overseeing the Brussels office of a public affairs consultancy.
EASA is the single voice of advertising self-regulation in Europe and of which ASA is a member. Its network consists of 43 organisations representing 28 advertising self-regulatory organisations from across Europe, 13 industry organisations representing the advertising ecosystem (advertisers, agencies and the media) and 1 digital pure-play company member.
We look forward to working closely with Mr. Basset as part of our ongoing support of EASA’s mission to promote high ethical standards in advertising across Europe; championing consumer protection and fostering trust in advertising.
