Background
Misleading Advertising: Angelic Crystals Ltd breaks UK advertising rules for making misleading health claims about the treatment of medical conditions using crystals on the www.angeliccrystalsleeds.co.uk website.
To date neither CAP nor the ASA have seen any evidence that crystals or crystal therapy can be used to treat medical conditions.
The ASA has previously investigated ads with similar claims, and in the absence of evidence to support the claims, has ruled that such claims are misleading.
The CAP Compliance team contacted Angelic Crystals Ltd but, in the absence of an assurance to amend their website to comply with the Code, took the decision on 23 August 2024 to place their company details on this section of the ASA website. These details shall remain in place until such time as Angelic Crystals Ltd has removed or appropriately amended the claims on the www.angeliccrystalsleeds.co.uk to comply with the CAP Code.
