The ASA has previously investigated ads for electric scooters and ruled that implying privately-owned electric scooters can be used in public places is misleading and irresponsible.
The CAP Compliance team contacted Antwi Electric Limited but, in the absence of an assurance to amend their advertising, took the decision on 28 May 2024 to place their company details on this section of the ASA website. These details shall remain in place until such time as Antwi Electric Limited has appropriately amended the www.antwielectric.com website to comply with the CAP Code.
