A relatively new marketing trend ‘advergames’ - typically electronic games that are used to advertise a product - has recently hit the headlines with the Government raising concerns about whether it is clear enough they are ads. Advertisers are always looking for innovative ways in which to engage with consumers. This is, of course, not a problem as long as they do so in a responsible way and in line with the rules.

So, how do the Advertising Codes apply to advergames?
